A&R Investment Properties, a sister company to MasterTech, is seeking an experienced maintenance technician who is able to take care of multiple rental properties, quickly respond to repair requests, and refresh these units between leases.
Because rental properties tend to need a lot of attention, we need a top of the line maintenance technician who genuinely cares about serving others, loves to fix things, and enjoys working without needing someone to tell them what else needs to be done or how to do it.
The Big Task
You will maintain multiple rental properties located in Columbia, MO
Key Sub-tasks
- Maintain communication with property manager about outside services that need to be arranged, such as pest control, plumbing/heating/cooling issues, etc. and be on-site at time of those service calls
- Politely communicate with renters
- Test/repair/replace smoke and carbon monoxide detectors
- Keep door and window locks in working condition
- Check for water leaks and repair any damage
- Clean and repair gutter systems
- Light landscaping duties, including mowing, pruning, raking, branch/stick removal, shoveling snow, etc.
- Keep exteriors maintained and looking presentable
This position requires mechanical aptitude, a solid work ethic, and customer-centered attitude.
