MasterTech Plumbing, Heating and Cooling is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team of Master Technicians & Mighty Nice People as the Senior Service Technician for HVAC. Candidates with NATE and/or EPA certifications are encouraged to apply. Applicants with experience working on boilers and/or commercial equipment will be given extra consideration.

Responsibilities

You’ll be the leader of the HVAC Service department, and the team of Service, Maintenance, and Installation technicians will look to you for leadership, guidance, coaching, teaching and/or motivation. You'll also be the primary field technician sent to homes to make repairs on HVAC systems. In this role, you'll work closely with the HVAC Comfort Consultant (salesperson), the Marketing & Service Manager, the Assistant General Manager and General Manager to achieve company, departmental, and individual goals. Requirements

  • 2 years field experience in HVAC service, repair, and customer service
  • Must be able to acquire a Class E driver’s license within 30 days of hire
  • Experience with mini-splits, heat pumps, gas furnaces, as well as regular split systems.
  • Thorough understanding of thermostats including digital, programmable, Wi-Fi enabled, and other Smart devices
  • Operating knowledge of wireless devices (smart phone, tablet, etc)
  • Must pass a background check that includes criminal & credit checks
  • Must possess a driving record without any drug or alcohol related offenses
