When Kyle came last week to do my twice yearly service he caught that my furnace blower was pulling too many amps and it was blowing out the fuse. Knew I was going to need to replace both heat and air soon as the unit was really old. Last year, I signed up for the service plan, and it’s been well worth the price. It includes a heating, an A/C, and a plumbing inspection, plus 10% off any work done. Since signing up, I’ve had a number of plumbing jobs done, including water and drain line repair and replacement, sewer line camera inspection and clean out installation, water softener installation, water heater repair, pressure regulating valve replacement, and automated monitor and shutoff installation. All of the techs have been great about answering my questions and meeting my needs, and I’ve been pleased with the quality of work. I believe Gary installed the softener, and he was great to work with, as was the camera guy (Chris, I think?).More recently, I had a new thermostat and humidifier installed on my HVAC system. Kyle did this work and really went above and beyond. In addition to doing a great job with these and answering my questions, he did not charge me extra for complications and even fixed an issue with a prior repair on the exhaust of my water heater that he noticed during the inspection that was not noticed during the previous repair on another part of the water heater, for free. Furthermore, he was kind enough to clean up no less than three dead mice around my HVAC, including the crime scene of one brutally mutilated by my cat the night before.

My furnace went out early this Saturday morning. Then the temperature in the house dropped to 50 degrees by morning. I just knew I was going to get raked over the coals for calling for a repair on the weekend. I called MasterTech because I had used them once years before with great results. Tyler called me about 3 minutes after I got off the phone with their call center and he told me when he was going to arrive. He was at my house within an hour. Within 30 minutes of his arrival, he had diagnosed, cleaned an repaired the my furnace. I had heat again!Tyler is without a doubt the most efficient, professional, and courteous service person I have ever had in my house. He not only cleaned up after himself when he was done he made sure to check with me to see if there was anything else I needed or if I had any questions. He’s a genuinely great guy.I was at Tyler and MasterTech’s mercy on this job. They could have really run up the bill. Instead, I was charge their $127 weekend call fee and there were no additional charges. I don't write a lot of reviews. But when somebody does such a good job and in such a professional manner I feel I'd be doing them a disservice by not letting the world know. Thank you Tyler and Master Tech!
